What is a chargeback?
When a payee requests his credit card company about a ilegitimate charge and the credit card company refuses to pay the company that charged the card then its called chargeback. There is a fee charged by the credit card company against the
merchant or the registrar, when a sale is chargebacked by the client.
For instance, if a domain name costs some few dollars and the customer refuses to pay,the registrar does not get the money and gets charged $10 to $25
by the credit card company which is generally resulted as passing on the charge to the affiliate partner.
