Generally the more useful and interesting content a website has chances are the more successful it will be. Useful content ensures that more people will visit the site again and again, this is especially true if a website is constantly adding more and more content on a regular basis be it articles, tutorials, news or opinions.

Content essentially includes what you see on the site, that is the text. Adding quality content at regular intervals will increase the site’s value for the readers. Also the more quality content the better ranking a site gets.
