Although there are forums online for every niche, most of them never take off as starting a forum is easy but getting people to come, register and post on it is very difficult. The ones which are full of updated posts and threads and a lot of traffic have been up for years now and lot of efforts have been taken by the admins of those forums.

So even though there is a forum for every niche, the useful ones with active members and discussions are few.
