<description>What a great article and especially useful to beginners. CSS has certainly been around for sometime but not globally recognized until around the past few years. As there are more free online resources theres no point having to buy a book when you can learn online for free. In my experience, it is incredibily easy to learn CSS. You can make shockingly professional designs with minimal CSS knowledge. The many advantages of CSS is they have many properties (or "features") that aren't available in plain old HTML, which is beneficial for designing Web templates in today's standards. I hear that CSS3 will have drop-down shadows and such, and that will unlock new features in the designing industry without needing such a graphics program or use images for that matter. Talking of which, XHTML will hopefully replace old HTML and markup language will become much more cleaner &#38; works in most recognized browsers. No need to use tables and transparent images for spacing now as the use of margins &#38; paddings. I am not sure where we'd be today without CSS!</description>
