cPanel has got to be the most utmost reliable and is currently only available on Linux distros which is a bonus for Linux. cPanel has gained dominance over Plesk as well as any other control panel alike because of the smart key features such as WHM, etc.

Plesk on the other hand has got to be a second best for me because it is fast and much better than HostingController. However again not my favourite and when cPanel moves into the Windows-based market, Plesk have a lot of competition to consider.

cPanel and Plesk are the only Leaders left in Control Panel Market as Swsoft has purchased all other Control panels including Helm, HSphere and Ensim.

cPanel is highly focussed on launch of its Windows Control Panel as that would be their only chance to stop growth of Plesk.

I am closely associated with both, cPanel as well as Plesk and I would like to see tough competition between both as their competition will help users of this control panels.
