APR
Apache Portable Runtime (APR) is a project to create and maintain software libraries that provide a predictable and consistent interface to underlying platform-specific implementations.
Open souce projects like the Apache HTTP Server, Flood load tester, FreeSwitch, JXTA-C, mod_jk v2 and mod_webapp (part of Tomcat), mod_spin, Subversion & libbtt (part of mod_bt) are know to to use APR.
APR subprojects:
* apr - a portable runtime library
* apr-util - a companion library to APR
* apr-iconv - a portable implementation of the iconv() library
